Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults in EV & PV vehicles.
  • Perform periodic maintenance, servicing, and vehicle inspections.
  • Troubleshoot battery systems, charging systems, motors, controllers, and electrical circuits in EVs.
  • Repair engine, transmission, suspension, steering, braking, and HVAC systems in passenger vehicles.
  • Use diagnostic tools and manufacturer-approved software for fault identification.
  • Conduct pre-delivery inspections (PDI) and final quality checks.
  • Maintain service records and job cards accurately.
  • Follow safety procedures and manufacturer guidelines during repairs.
  • Coordinate with Service Advisors and Workshop Managers for timely vehicle delivery.
  • Ensure customer vehicles are repaired within the committed turnaround time.

  • Experience using automotive diagnostic scanners and workshop equipment.
  • Ability to read technical manuals and wiring diagrams.
  • Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Basic computer knowledge for service documentation.

Qualification

  • ITI (Motor Mechanic Vehicle / Electrician / Diesel Mechanic) or Diploma in Mechanical/Automobile Engineering.
  • EV certification or training will be an added advantage.
