Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults in EV & PV vehicles.
- Perform periodic maintenance, servicing, and vehicle inspections.
- Troubleshoot battery systems, charging systems, motors, controllers, and electrical circuits in EVs.
- Repair engine, transmission, suspension, steering, braking, and HVAC systems in passenger vehicles.
- Use diagnostic tools and manufacturer-approved software for fault identification.
- Conduct pre-delivery inspections (PDI) and final quality checks.
- Maintain service records and job cards accurately.
- Follow safety procedures and manufacturer guidelines during repairs.
- Coordinate with Service Advisors and Workshop Managers for timely vehicle delivery.
- Ensure customer vehicles are repaired within the committed turnaround time.

Desired Candidate Profile
Required Skills
- Knowledge of EV systems, batteries, BMS, charging systems, and high-voltage safety.
- Strong understanding of passenger vehicle mechanical systems.
- Experience using automotive diagnostic scanners and workshop equipment.
- Ability to read technical manuals and wiring diagrams.
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Basic computer knowledge for service documentation.
Qualification
- ITI (Motor Mechanic Vehicle / Electrician / Diesel Mechanic) or Diploma in Mechanical/Automobile Engineering.
- EV certification or training will be an added advantage.
