Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct technical training programs on vehicle diagnostics, repair procedures, and preventive maintenance.
- Deliver classroom sessions and practical workshop demonstrations on Petrol, Diesel, BS6, Hybrid, and EV systems.
- Train technicians on OEM diagnostic scanners, electrical systems, ECU programming, and fault code analysis.
- Develop training modules, SOPs, presentations, and technical manuals.
- Evaluate trainees through practical assessments, quizzes, and certification tests.
- Identify skill gaps and recommend development plans for workshop staff.
- Provide technical support for complex vehicle diagnosis and repeat repair cases.
- Stay updated with the latest OEM technologies, diagnostic equipment, and service bulletins.
- Maintain training records, attendance, feedback, and certification documentation.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and workshop best practices.

Desired Candidate Profile
Required Qualifications
- Diploma / B.Tech in Automobile, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
- 5–10 years of experience in automobile diagnostics, workshop operations, or OEM technical support.
- Prior experience as a Technical Trainer or Diagnostic Expert is preferred.
- Hands-on knowledge of automotive electrical, electronic, engine management, transmission, ABS, SRS, HVAC, and EV systems.
- Proficiency in OEM diagnostic scanners and troubleshooting tools.
- Strong presentation, communication, and mentoring skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with passenger cars, commercial vehicles, or EVs.
- Knowledge of CAN Bus, ECU programming, calibration, and software updates.
- Ability to create technical documentation and training content.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to travel for dealership and field training assignments.
