Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct technical training programs on vehicle diagnostics, repair procedures, and preventive maintenance.
  • Deliver classroom sessions and practical workshop demonstrations on Petrol, Diesel, BS6, Hybrid, and EV systems.
  • Train technicians on OEM diagnostic scanners, electrical systems, ECU programming, and fault code analysis.
  • Develop training modules, SOPs, presentations, and technical manuals.
  • Evaluate trainees through practical assessments, quizzes, and certification tests.
  • Identify skill gaps and recommend development plans for workshop staff.
  • Provide technical support for complex vehicle diagnosis and repeat repair cases.
  • Stay updated with the latest OEM technologies, diagnostic equipment, and service bulletins.
  • Maintain training records, attendance, feedback, and certification documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and workshop best practices.

Required Qualifications

  • Diploma / B.Tech in Automobile, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
  • 5–10 years of experience in automobile diagnostics, workshop operations, or OEM technical support.
  • Prior experience as a Technical Trainer or Diagnostic Expert is preferred.
  • Hands-on knowledge of automotive electrical, electronic, engine management, transmission, ABS, SRS, HVAC, and EV systems.
  • Proficiency in OEM diagnostic scanners and troubleshooting tools.
  • Strong presentation, communication, and mentoring skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with passenger cars, commercial vehicles, or EVs.
  • Knowledge of CAN Bus, ECU programming, calibration, and software updates.
  • Ability to create technical documentation and training content.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to travel for dealership and field training assignments.
