Key Responsibilities
Government Sales & Business Development
Lead and drive Government Sales strategy across PAN India
Develop and expand relationships with Central Government, State Government Departments, PSUs, and System Integrators
Identify, track, and close large government tenders and strategic projects
Expand business opportunities across existing and new government accounts
Tendering & Bid Management
Manage complete tender lifecycle including bid qualification, participation, submission, negotiation, and closure
Handle GeM portal operations, government procurement processes, and compliance requirements
Coordinate with internal pre-sales, technical, product, and operations teams for successful bid management
Revenue & Account Management
Own complete sales lifecycle from lead generation to order closure and payment collections
Deliver revenue targets, profitability objectives, and business expansion goals
Build long-term account management strategies for key government clients

Desired Candidate Profile
20+ years of experience in Government Sales within IT Hardware / Automation industry
Minimum 10+ years in leadership or senior management role
Strong exposure to Government / PSU sales and tender-based business
Deep understanding of GeM portal, procurement systems, and government tendering processes
Proven capability in managing large geographies and high-value accounts
Strong relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills
Ability to interact with senior government officials and key decision-makers
Self-driven, target-oriented, and capable of working in a competitive environment
Willingness to travel extensively across India
