## Job Description
We are looking for an experienced, reliable, and trustworthy **Cook / Kitchen Assistant** for a private household in Udaipur. The selected candidate will be responsible for preparing healthy, nutritious, and delicious daily meals for a family of **6–7 members**, maintaining kitchen hygiene, managing grocery and kitchen inventory, and ensuring smooth day-to-day kitchen operations.
## Key Responsibilities
* Prepare daily **breakfast, lunch, snacks, and dinner** for 6–7 family members.
* Prepare a variety of **Indian vegetarian dishes** with excellent taste and hygiene standards.
* Maintain cleanliness, sanitization, and proper organization of the kitchen.
* Manage kitchen stock, grocery items, and store inventory.
* Ensure proper storage of food items and minimize food wastage.
* Prepare daily/weekly grocery lists and coordinate grocery purchases.
* Assist with meal serving and other routine kitchen activities.
* Coordinate with and manage kitchen helpers, if required.
* Maintain high standards of **food safety, hygiene, and kitchen discipline**.
* Independently handle day-to-day kitchen operations.

## Desired Candidate Profile
* Minimum **5+ years of proven experience** in household cooking or private residence kitchen management.
* Strong knowledge of preparing diverse Indian vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes.
* Experience cooking for families of **6–7 members**.
* Ability to independently manage the complete kitchen setup and daily operations.
* Experience handling grocery supplies, kitchen stores, and helper staff.
* Honest, trustworthy, punctual, disciplined, and hardworking.
* Well-organized with a professional and responsible attitude.
* **Local candidates from Udaipur are preferred.**
## Educational Qualification
* No formal degree required.
* Basic literacy is preferred.
* Vocational training in cooking, hospitality, or a related field will be an added advantage.
## Work Timings
**8:00 / 8:30 AM to 10:00 PM**
**Afternoon Break:** 1.5 hours
